Optimum correction work flow on the Internet through integration of Acrobat 5.0 into NetroView

The Internet-based document management system NetroView integrates Acrobat 5.0's newest features. The efficiency characterizing the NetroView annotation applet has now also been realized by Adobe Acrobat 5.0.

Acrobat 5.0 now makes it possible for several people to work on a PDF document on the Net collectively. All participants can now enter comments into a PDF document via Web browser (NC4.X and IE 5.X) and an Acrobat plug-in. In Acrobat 5.0, the comments get stored on a Web server index with the click of a button.

The exchange of comments in NetroView via the Internet takes place through the Web/DAV interface implemented by Adobe in Acrobat 5.0. With NetroView, comments are managed in a data bank on a server. These comments can be arranged e.g. by author or by date and shown or hidden at will.

Moreover, NetroView offers the possibility of generating, printing and storing reports on comments made. These reports facilitate the documentation of project development and can be used for, among other things, accounting purposes.

Without having Acrobat 5.0 installed on the computer, it is still possible, using the NetroView applet, to work on documents on the Internet without plug-ins or additional cost.

The application of NetroView puts a fully configured administration system at the user's disposal. Access rights, project administration and document management are clearly structured and easy to use.

Access to a document in NetroView requires unequivocal user identification. SSL encoding guarantees additional security.

The combination of Acrobat 5.0 and NetroView means the availability of easy-to-use processing functions on a PDF basis along with efficient project and document management.

This combination offers optimum correction workflow. It is sure to give its user a competitive edge.
